At the moment I live in Cambridge. I have completed a four year course in Multimedia Systems at Liverpool John Moores University and I am now in full time employment as assistant manager of a small customer support team.

Computing Experience

I consider myself quite proficient with general computer based skills such as the use of word processors, spreadsheets and databases as well as possessing a large amount of knowledge in design packages like "Adobe Photoshop 7" and "Adobe Illustrator CS". I am also very familiar with "Microsoft FrontPage" and "Macromedia Dreamweaver" which I used for editing the first 5 versions of my personal website (I now use a PHP based content management system called e107 which requires me to use/manipulate PHP, HTML and SQL).

Other programs I am familiar with but only have a working knowledge are "Jasc's Paint Shop Pro"; "Planetside’s Terragen", "Cinema 4D", "3D Studio Max", "Macromedia Flash" and "Macromedia Director".

I have some basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and Java and can often manipulate certain codes to my liking but am by no means proficient in these languages. I consider myself capable in HTML and CSS.

My work at ProVision entailed working with a skilled javascript/php writer to produce templates for the forum system "ProBoards" for commercial use. As part of this focused team we produced generic products along with custom templates for specific clients. This involved assessing the market for our products to improve our targeting, as well as establishing requirements for custom client requests. As part of this process we helped the clients to refine and improve their concepts and requirements prior to beginning production. Working in this environment has given me an understanding of the challenges involved in larger development projects as well as the practical and people skills necessary to meet those challenges.
